The Helena-West Helena School Board plans to elect a new member at its June 8 meeting to fulfill the remaining term of the late Troy Bobo. Board president Sandra Bagley at Monday’s monthly meeting told members that, by law, the decision must be made within 60 days of the created vacancy, or the Phillips County Quorum Court will select a new member.
